Two months ago today

Two months ago today was our last homestudy meeting and we're still not licensed. I called on Wednesday to check our status. Our case manager doesn't have any updates for us but did point out that Andy's First Aid/CPR certification is about to expire. After talking with Andy, we realized he didn't submit his most recent certification. He is not really sure as to where the newest cards are so he is getting a copy of them from work. I e-mailed our case manager to let her know that we're going to get her a copy of the newest one and asked if there is anything else that they need from us. I haven't heard back but we should be good as that is what she told us at our last homestudy meeting. She also couldn't give me a rought timeline as to when we may be licensed. UGH!!!!! I don't know what to think at this point...I'm going to wait another week and call again. If the end of May comes around and we're still not licensed, I'm going to be very disappointed and may call her supervisor to find out what is taking so long. I hate to do that but there is no reason for it to take that long.

On a brighter note...Andy and I have a fun weekend planned. He's sleeping and I'm going to the movies this afternoon with a friend and then date night with Andy this evening. On Sunday, we're going to the Nuggets play off game. YEAH! I bought tickets as a "thank you" to Andy for being amazing while I've been in trial! He's been cooking dinner, cleaning, running errands, and just being a huge support for the past month. We're at the half way mark with the trial so only one more month left!!! I'm looking forward to it being done but will miss working with our "team".
